1 3/4 cups sugar
3 large eggs
1 cup vegetable oil
2 cups grated zucchini
1 tablespoon vanilla
3 cups flour
1/2 cup cocoa
1 1/4 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 350. Lightly grease 2 5x9 inch bread pans. Combine the sugar, eggs and oil in a large bowl. Beat until well blended. Stir in the zucchini and vanilla. In another bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa, salt, baking soda, cinnamon, and baking powder. Add the flour mixture to the zucchini mixture and stir just until blended. Stir in the chocolate chips and nuts. Pour the batter into the prepared pans. Bake the loaves for 1 hour or until a tester inserted in the center comes out clean. On wire racks, cool the breads in the pans for 10 minutes. Invert onto the racks and cool completely.
