1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. baking soda
1 egg
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 3/4 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
milk chocolate kisses

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Beat shortening and peanut butter for 30 seconds. Add sugar, baking powder, and baking soda. Beat until combined. Beat in egg, milk, and vanilla. Beat in flour. Shape dough into 1" balls. Roll in sugar. Place 2" apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes, until edges are firm. Press a chocolate kiss in the center of each cookie.
