1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk
3 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar well. Add the beaten eggs, vanilla, and
milk. Sift or stir together flour, salt, and baking powder. Add the
the egg and butter mixture. Put a little flour on a board, and roll
out mixture to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut out with cookie cutters.
Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
Frost with a powdered sugar glaze and decorate as desired.
