4 cups sugar
4 cups vinegar
1/4 cup salt
1 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
1 1/2 teaspoon mustard seed
small amount of onions and green peppers
cucumbers, sliced

Directions:
Directions:
Combine the sugar, vinegar, salt, celery and mustard seed, onions and green peppers, stir well. Either fill jars or an ice cream pail with sliced cucumbers. Pour the brine over the cucumbers. This recipe keeps well in the refrigerator and requires no cooking.
