2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 c. milk
2 tbsp. melted shortening
1/2 tsp. salt
3 1/4 c. sifted flour
3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. chopped nuts
1 lb. gumdrops

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs and sugar until light. Add milk, melted shortening and salt. Mix well. Fold in flour and baking powder. Fold in nuts and cut in gumdrops. Bake.
