1 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 cups yellow corn meal
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp.baking powder
1 beaten egg
1 1/2 to 2 cups buttermilk
3 tbsp. oil
14-in. dutch oven

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, corn meal, sugar, salt, soda and baking powder. Add buttermilk, small amount at a time, until it's thick cake-batter consistency. Add beaten egg. Stir and add oil stir again. Spray dutch oven with pam or nonstick spray. Pour a small amount of oil in bottom of oven and bake over medium coals under and on top of oven.
