2 c. enriched flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. butter or margarine (softened)
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs, unbeaten
4 tbsp. milk
1 c. nuts, chopped
2 tsp. vanilla
4 c. rolled oats (quick cooking or regular)

Preheat oven to 375. Bake for 10 - 12 minutes.

Grandma Peternell gave this recipe to Pam when she was looking for something to make for 4-H. Pam won Grand Champion with this recipe. Pam's daughter, Megan, also made this cookie recipe for 4-H when she was 12 and she also won Grand Champion with it!
