Peanut Butter Cookies Recipe

1 c. shortening
1 t. vanilla
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. sugar
2 beaten eggs
1 c. peanut butter
3 c. flour
1/8 t. salt
2 t. soda

Cream together first 4 ingredients. Stir in eggs. Stir in peanut butter.
Sift together dry ingredients. Add to peanut butter mixture and mix well.

Roll into 3 " logs and flatten with fork.

Bake at 375 about 12 minutes or till lightly browned.
