2 yeast cakes 1/2 c. luke warm water 1 T. sugar 1 c. luke warm milk 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. melted shortening 1 tsp. salt 3 eggs - beaten 5 c. flour
Cream together yeast, water & sugar. Add all other ingredients and mix well. Let rise until twice its size and then take pieces that will fit in muffin tins. Work out each one separately and place in tins and rise again for 1 to 1-1/2 hours.
