6 tbsp. margarine
2 pkgs. Ramen noodles (omit seasoning packet)
1/8 - 1/4 c. sesame seeds
5 1/2 oz. pkg. slivered almonds
1 head of cabbage, chopped or finely shredded
4 to 5 green onions

3/4 c. salad oil
3/8 c. vinegar
2 tsp. soy sauce
2/3 c. sugar

Melt margarine in a pan. Add broken noodles, almonds, and sesame seeds and brown until golden. Put into a separate bowl and refrigerate to cool. Chop cabbage and green onions and mix with the cooled noodle mixture. Mix sauce ingredients and stir well. Combine cabbage mixture and sauce mixture 10 minutes before serving. Cover and shake well to coat the cabbage mixture completely.
