Ingredients:  
1/2 cup red onion, chopped
pinch of garlic
pinch of shallots
1 tsp. whole grain or dijon mustard
1 bunch of picked basil leaves
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
1 cup olive oil
salt & pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
In a blender blend all ingredients except olive oil. Once they are blended well, slowly add 1 cup of olive oil.

This is a great dressing for every day salads. To really impress, use baby arugula, crumbled blue cheese (Greta Hill Bleu is great), pecans and julienne bosc pears.
