3 pears, peeled and diced into 1"cubes
6 oz butter, softened
6 oz granulated sugar
6 oz self-rising flour
6 drops vanilla extract
3 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Butter 8" cake pan.
Cream together butter and sugar until white and creamy. Beat in eggs, 1T of flour and vanilla. Fold in the remainder of the flour. Arrange the pears in the cake pan and pour the batter over them. Bake for about 30 minutes until golden on top.
