6 large apples, peeled and sliced/chopped
(OR mixture of peaches, pears, plums, cranberries, apricots, strawberries, rhubarb, etc., or 20 oz. can)
1/2 C sugar; white or brown
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. lemon juice
dash salt

Topping:
1/2 C sugar
3/4 C flour
1/8 tsp. salt
1/4 C nuts
6 Tbl. butter, melted

Directions:
Directions:
Mix ingredients together and cook until soft. Place in a casserole dish. Mix topping ingredients together and sprinkle over top. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes until slightly browned. Serve warm with ice cream.
