1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
2 cups mashed bananas
3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp vanilla
6 tbsp. milk
4 eggs, seperated

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, shortening and sugar. Add bananas. Combine flour, salt and soda. Add to banana mixture. Add vanilla, milk and egg yolks. Beat egg whites until stiff. Stir into batter. Bake in two loaf pans at 325 for 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
