3 c. flour
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp nutmeg
4 tsp baking powder
1 c. sugar
2/3 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 c. grated apple
1/2 c. milk
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, salt, nutmeg, baking powder and 1 c. sugar. Cut in shortening. Add eggs, milk and apple. Spoon into paper-lined muffin cups, filling 1/2 full. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes. While still hot, dip in melted butter and then roll in mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
