1 1/2 c. Canola Oil (I use only 1 c.)
1 1/2 c. Honey
1/4 c. Brown Sugar
42 oz. Box of Old Fashioned Oatmeal
1 tbsp. Ground Cinnamon
1 tbsp. Vanilla

1 c. Chopped Nuts (1/2 Almonds, 1/2 Pecans) (I double up and use 1 c. of each)
1 c. Wheat Germ
1 c. Sunflower Seeds
2 c. Dried Cherries

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 300 degrees. Combine oil, honey, sugar, oatmeal and nuts in roasting pan. Mix well (attempt to). Bake for three 15 minute periods, mixing well after each period. The last 15 minutes add the wheat germ and sunflower seeds. After the 45 minutes in the oven, add cinnamon and vanilla and mix well. Add dried fruit. Spread on cookie sheets to cool and dry. I pack in quart jars.
