1/2 c. corn syrup (white)
1/2 c. water
2 c. sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 egg whites
1 c. nuts
1 c. cherries (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine water, sugar, syrup- cook until light crack stage (265). Beat egg whites until stiff. When sugar, etc. reaches light crack stage, pour over beaten egg whites- Continue beating, add vanilla and nuts. ( I do not put in nuts until just before mixture is ready to pour. I drop by tsp. on wax paper).
