1 c. salt 1/3 c. water 1/2 c. corn starch 1/4 c. cold water food coloring (optional)
Cook salt and 1/3 c. water 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and add corn starch. Add cold water and food coloring. Mix will resemble mashed potatoes. Stir until thickens. Cool and then knead. Store clay in the refrigerator in a sealed container with a damp sponge.
