1 can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
1-1/2 to 2-3/4 c sugar
1/2 c flour
1 qt milk
1 to 1-1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour and sugar. Add Eagle Brand, beaten eggs, vanilla, and milk. Heat over low heat until thick. Note: Make sure the flour doesn’t lump. Chill completely. Pour in freezer and add milk to fill until 1 to 1 ˝ inches from the top. Churn per freezer manufacturer’s directions. .

When a teenager in Billings we’d make ice cream at church youth socials. Then, when married to the military and going to school in Texas, in the hot summers we’d get together with another young military couple to play cards and make ice cream. A very fun and inexpensive get together.
