1-3/4 cup regular flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup Crisco shortening
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 egg
2 T. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
48 Hershey's Kisses
sugar to roll dough balls prior to baking

Combine all ingredients. Mix on low speed until dough forms. Shape dough into balls and roll in sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 10 to 12 minutes.
Top each cookie immediately with a chocolate kiss; press down firmly so cookie cracks around edge.
