1 lb. ground beef or turkey
1 large onion, chopped
2 medium cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup chopped green or red pepper
1 28 oz. can crushed tomatoes
1/2 cup red wine
1 tbsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. cumin, crushed
1/8 tsp. basil
1 can (1 lb.) kidney beans, rinsed and drained
corn chips/corn bread

Directions:
Directions:
In large skillet, brown meat, stirring to break into bits. Add onion, garlic, & green/red pepper. Cook until vegetables are tender. Add remaining ingredients, except kidney beans & corn chips. Simmer, uncovered, about 30 minutes, until sauce is thickened. Stir occasionally. Add beans and heat through. Serve with corn chips/corn bread.
