2 large can of peaches
1 box of yellow cake mix

Directions:

Burn open fire to coals 3-4" thick (or preheat oven to 400. Grease bottom and sides of cast iron Dutch oven. Place cake mix in a bowl and drain peach juice into mix. Pour peaches into Dutch oven. Stir juice and cake mix to a smooth consistency. Dollop on top on peaches. Bake approximately 30 minutes until top is golden brown. Cool slightly before serving.

If using an open fire, add only small pieces of wood to avoid high flames. Move around to new hot spots as necessary. Cover for 15 minutes to concentrate heat and pile hot coals on lid to bake from top and bottom. Also keeps ashes out of the dessert.
