1 package German Chocolate cake mix, prepared according to directions
1 (14-ounce) package caramels
1/2 cup carnation milk
1 stick margarine
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Place half the cake batter in a greased 9 x 13 pan, bake 20 minutes at 350. While baking, mix the next three ingredients. Take the cake out of the oven and pour melted mixture, then add chips and nuts over bottom layer. Top with remaining cake batter and continue to bake another 20 minutes.
