4 sticks butter (1 lb. total)
1 1/2 C sugar
2 C brown sugar
3 eggs
2 T vanilla
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
4 C flour
4 C old fashioned oatmeal
2 bags chocolate chips (1 milk + 1 semi-sweet)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar together in mixer for 5 minutes. Add dry ingredients. Bake at 350 degrees on ungreased cookie sheet for 8-10 minutes (longer if jumbo cookies.)
