3 cups flour 3 cups water 1 1/2 cups salt 3 TBS vegetable oil 6 tsp. cream of tartar
Combine above in medium sized saucepan. Put oil and water in first then the rest of ingredients. Heat until it looks like mashed potatoes. Knead on floured board until smooth. Add food coloring. Store in ziplock bag or airtight container.
