1 can sweetened condensed milk
2 C sugar
1 C butter
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 C white Karo syrup
3/4 tsp. licorice oil or 1 tsp. anise extract
3/4 tsp. black food coloring

Directions:
Directions:
Combine milk, sugar, butter, salt and syrup on stovetop and cook to firm ball state. Remove from heat, add licorise/anise and food coloring and stir well. Pour into greased 8x8 square pan. Let cool. Cut and wrap individually.
