1 1/2 C sugar
1 C butter or margarine, softened
2 eggs
2 3/4 C flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 C sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together sugar, butter and eggs. In another bowl, stir together flour, tartar, baking soda, and salt. Add to creamed mixture. Shape into 1 inch balls. In a small bowl mix together the 1/4 C sugar and cinnamon and roll balls in it. Place 2 inches apart on cookie sheet and bake at 400 for about 8-10 minutes.
