"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Combine all ingredients in a large pot. Bring to a boil, stirring so it won't scorch. Turn down heat and simmer for 1 hour. Sterilize clean jars and lids in boiling water. I turn them upside down in a 9X13 pan with about 2 inches of water and sterilize them. Ladle salsa into jars. Group them on a towel on your counter and cover with cloth until sealed.
