Filling:
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. corn starch
1 c. boiling water
1 tbsp. butter
juice and grated rind of 1 large lemon
2 egg yolks
sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar and corn starch, add to boiling water and stir constantly until clear. Add other ingredients. Cook over low heat a minute longer. Cool. Pour into baked pie shell. Beat egg whites, add 2 tbsp. sugar for each. Put on top of filling. Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown.
