5 or 6 apples 1 c. sugar (more sugar for green apples) 1 tsp. cinnamon butter double pie crust
Core, peel and slice apples. Place in bowl and add sugar and cinnamon. Pour into pie crust. Place about 6 pats of butter over the apples. Cover with top crust. Make sure to cut some slits in the top crust. Bake at 425 degrees until pie is golden brown.
