4 cups Beach Plums
2 cups Sugar
2 cups water
100 proof vodka to cover

Directions:
Directions:
In a sauce pan simmer the plums, sugar and water for a while, you want the plums to soften and burst. Let cool in a large jar that can be covered. When cool pour in vodka to cover the plums. Cover the jar and let macerate for 6 weeks. Strain, compost the plums, and pour the liquid into a large bottle (s). Let sit for another month before straining into smaller bottles. Now it is ready to drink!
