1 T olive oil
1 c whipping cream
1/4 c melted margarine
3/4 c Parmasean cheese
1 1/2-2 cloves garlic
1 T chopped fresh parsley
1/2 tsp dried basil
1/8 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp salt
1 T freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/2 -1 lb jumbo shrimp (uncooked & peeled)
Linguine (for 2 people)

Directions:
Directions:
Boil pasta.
On low heat, melt butter in skillet or sauce pan.
Add whipping cream.
Stir in cheese and all other ingredients.
Add shrimp last and simmer until sauce is thickened (about 3-5 minutes).
Serve immediately over linguini.

This is my favorite recipe from the restaurant, South Seaport Cafe, in Sea Pines Plantation on Hilton Head Island, where I worked the summer of '90 after my freshman year in college. It's always a big hit.
