"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain
This recipe for Special Deviled Eggs, by Diana Curry, is from Our Heritage Family Cookbook,
one of the cookbooks created at FamilyCookbookProject.com. We help
families or individuals create heirloom cookbook treasures.
Boiled eggs, mayonnaise, mustard, a few drops of worchestershire sauce. Instead of paprika I use mild Mexican brand chili powder on top.
Mix yolks w/ wet ingredients, spoon back into egg white halves, sprinkle with Mexican chili powder.
Doulble # of eggs
This recipe is from my Grandmother Jessie Hansen. I added this one for my son-in-law William Christopher Rivers. I hope one day when I am gone someone will make him these as he is a total NON egg eater but his share is about 24 halves.
