2 large heads broccoli, chopped
cup golden raisins
cup finely chopped red onion
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
12 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled

Dressing: 1 cup mayonnaise, cup sugar, 2 tbsp cider vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
In large bowl whisk dressing ingredients until well mixed. Add broccoli, raisins & onion and cheese to dressing. Toss well to mix. Cover and chill several hours or overnight. Top with bacon before serving. Serves 8-10. For a slightly softer texture, blanch the broccoli for 1 minute, then plunge into ice water and drain well before adding other ingredients.
