2 1/2 cups flour
1 1/3 cups sugar
1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 dash salt
2/3 cup crisco (solid shortening)
2/3 cup sour cream
1 1/4 cup mashed banana (about 3)
2 eggs
1 cup chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients (it helps to sift the baking powder and baking soda into the flour to distribute it evenly) before adding the liquid ingredients. Pour into loaf pans (2-3, depending on the size of the pans). Bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes.
