6 Quarts of popped popcorn
1/2 lb. salted nuts (1 1/2 cups)
1/4 cup light molasses
1 cup butter or margarine
1 lb. light brown sugar
1/4 cup light corn syrup (Karo)
1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
In a heavy saucepan melt butter. Stir in brown sugar, corn syrup, molasses and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly, until it reaches the soft-ball candy stage or 236 º. In a very large bowl or roaster, pour the candy mixture over the popcorn and peanuts. Mix well and turn onto two large cookie sheets (covered with foil). Bake at 250º for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Remove from oven and cool.
