1 15 oz. can garbonzo beans
1/4 c. tahini
juice of 1 lemon
2 tbsp. olive oil
1 garlic clove, chopped
1/2 tsp. salt
2 or 3 Roma tomatoes, chopped
6 to 8 fresh basil leaves, chopped
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Drain the beans, reserve 1/4 c. of the liquid. Combine the beans, reserved liquid, tahini, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic & 1/2 tsp. salt in a food processor. Process until smooth. Spread hummus on a platter or into a bowl.

Combine the tomatoes & basil in a bowl. Add salt & pepper. Sprinkle over hummus. Serve with pita wedges, pretzels and/or veggies.
