2 cups sugar
4 eggs
4 squares (4oz) unsweetened chocolate melted and slightly cooled
1/4 tsp baking pwd
1 cup broken nuts
1 cup butter
2 1/2 cups sifted flour
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla

Frosting
2 Tbsp soft butter
1 cup pwd sugar
1 Tbsp evaporated milk
1/2 tsp peppermint flavoring
green or red food coloring

Glaze
3 Tbsp butter
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together sugar and butter until fluffy. Beat in eggs until well blended, then melted chocolate. Sift flour, measure and sift again with dry ingredients, and stir in along with vanilla and nuts. Spread in buttered 9x13 pan and bake at 325 for 30 mins or until no imprint is left when touched by finger. Do not overbake. Frosting: Mix until creamy and spread on cooled brownies. Refrigerate for one hour Glaze: Melt chips, butter, and vanilla over a double boiler. Blend thoroughly. Pour gently over frosting as soon as it's melted. Spread and cool in fridge. YUM!!

I don't always sift everything or cook over a double boiler, but it always turns out delicious---my favorite brownie recipe by far.
