2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp salt
1 Tbsp sugar
1 1/2 cups raisins
4 apples, diced
1 cake yeast, dissolved as for bread
Enough flour to make stiff batter

Directions:
Directions:
Mix in order given
Let it rise until batter is light
When ready, drop by tablespoons into hot lard
Keep turning until brown
When cool, roll in powdered sugar
