1 pound pork chops
7 cups water
2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
5 tbsp dried onion flakes (or 1 large onion, chopped)
16 oz can diced tomatoes
1/2 cup diced carrots
1 cup fresh or frozen black eyed peas
1 cup snapped fresh or frozen green beans
1 cup whole kernel white corn
1 1/2 cup diced potatoes
1 cup shredded cabbage

Directions:
Directions:
Combine first five ingredients in large Dutch oven; cook 45 minutes or until meat is tender. Discard bones and cut meat into bite size pieces. Skim fat off top of broth.

Add remaining ingredients except potatoes and cabbage. Cook 30 minutes. Add potatoes and cabbage and cook 30 minutes more.

Season, if needed, with additional salt and pepper.
