2 cups boiling water
2 cups Nabisco Bran cereal
3 cups white sugar
1 heaping cup shortening
1 quart buttermilk
5 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
5 teaspoons soda
4 cups Kellogg Bran Buds

Directions:
Directions:
Pour the 2 cups of boiling water over the 2 cups of Nabisco Bran and set aside. Cream together the sugar, shortening, eggs, and buttermilk. Sift the flour, salt and soda. Add the Kellogg Bran Buds. Mix until well moistened. Don't stir when you use batter. Just spoon into muffin pans.
