1 32 oz. pkg. frozen hash brown potatoes
1/2 c. melted butter
1 can cream of chicken soup-undiluted
10 oz. grated American cheese
1 8 oz. sour cream
1/2 small onion, chopped
Topping:
2 c. crushed corn flakes
1/4 c. butter, melted

Directions:
Directions:
Thaw potatoes in a 9x13 baking dish. Mix together butter, soup, cheese, sour cream, salt and onion. Spread over potatoes. Top with 2 c. crushed corn flakes and drizzle with 1/4 c. butter. Bake uncovered at 350 for 30 to 45 minutes. This can be prepared ahead and frozen.
