Preheat oven; get out bowl, spoons and ingredients. Grease pan, crack nuts. Remove 14 baby dolls and 7 toy cars from kitchen table. Measure out two cups flour; remove Janiya's hands from the flour and wash the flour off Janiya. Put flour, baking powder and salt in sifter. Get dustpan and brush up pieces of bowl that Branden knocked off the table and onto the floor. Get another bowl. Answer doorbell. Return to kitchen. Remove Andrew's hands from bowl. Wash Andrew. Get out egg. Answer phone. Return. Take out greased pan. Remove 1/4 inch salt from pan. Look for Janiya, Branden and Andrew. Return to kitchen and find them; remove hands from bowl; wash shortening, etc. off them. Pick up greased pan and find 1/4 inch layer of nutshells in it. Head for the grandchildren, who flee, knocking bowl off table. Wash kitchen floor. Wash table. Wash walls. Wash dishes. Call bakery. Lie down.
