1 small onion
1 can plum tomatoes
1 T olive oil
1 T butter
1 c. heavy cream
1/4 c. vodka
Salt and pepper to taste
1/8 tsp. crushed red pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter and oil in sausepan. Add the onion and saute for about 5 minutes. strain the tomatoes. Chop and add to the onion mixture. Cook tomatoes for about 25 minutes. Bring water to boil and cook penne until al dente. Add heavy cream and vodka to tomatoe mixture. Cook for an additional 2 minutes. Add salt, pepper and red pepper. Pour sause over pasta, and top with cheese.
