7 lbs of small beets, peeled and sliced.
2 c vinegar
2 c beet water
2 c sugar
1/2 tsp salt
Spices:
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp allspice
1 tsp cloves

Directions:
Directions:
Cook beets, keep the water. Peel and slice the beets.
Tie the spices in cheese cloth to make a sachet. Drop the spices in to the beet juice. Add beets that have been peeled and sliced and bring to a boil. Seal in hot sterilized jars. The easier way is to buy a couple gallons of beets from the grocery store that are already cooked and sliced.
