1 cup shortening
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
tsp. salt
1 cup sugar
2 tbsp. sugar
2 cup flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. cream of tarter

Directions:
Directions:
Mix shortening, eggs, and 1 cups sugar together well. Sift flour, cream of tarter, soda and salt; stir into shortening mixture. Chill dough. Roll into balls the size of small walnuts. Roll in mixture of two tablespoons sugar and cinnamon. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 7 minutes (they will be lightly browned, but still soft).
