1/8 tsp. salt
1/8 C. water
1 c. white Karo syrup
2/3 C. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Combine and cook to a soft ball 236°. Cease stirring after sugar has dissolved. Add 1 1/2 tablespoons flour to a 14 ounce package of coconut, stir and mix flour around.
Pour candy over coconut. Stir well and pat lightly into a buttered pan (8 x 8 inch). Cool. Cut in squares and dip. Either dip almond, then put on dipped coconut bar and dip both together. Two al­monds may be used to make an almond joy bar.
