2 tablespoons egg whites (or 2 1/2 tablespoons meringue powder and 1/4 cup minus 1 tablespoon water)
2 cups confectioners sugar
Food coloring

Directions:
Directions:
Whisk egg whites and sugar to form a loose icing. It should flow a little. Transfer small amount to separate bowls and color. (i.e., Pipe pink icing around edge and white in center). Keep icing covered with damp cloth to prevent drying. Frost cookies and allow to dry. Package in cellophane bags.
