2 egg whites
1/2 c. sugar
1 t. almond extract (opt.)
1/4 t. vanilla extract
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1 c. pecans, chopped (opt.)
food coloring

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg whites at room temperature until foamy. Gradually add sugar, beating until stiff peaks form. Add flavoring and food coloring. Fold in chocolate morsels. Drop by heaping teaspoons onto aluminum foil-lined cookie sheets. Place in a 350 oven; immediately turn off oven. Let stand 8 - 10 hours or overnight - don't open oven. Store in air-tight container.
