4 large sweet onions (sliced about 1/2 inch wide)
1 stick butter
1/2 cup chicken or vegeable broth
1/2 cup dry sherry
2 TBS. flour
1 1/2 cups soft bread crumbs
1/2 cup grated sharp cheese
2 TBS Parmesan Cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onions in butter until transparent. Add broth, sherry, and flour.
Cook and stir until thickened. Transfer to casserole. Tope with bread
crumbs. Top with both cheeses.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 mins. until slightly brown and bubbly.
